Meet Our Client

Anchorage Opera is a professional opera company based in Alaska. Officially formed in 1962, it functions as the center of artistic creation, innovation, and education in Alaska. Its mission is to preserve the organic beauty and illustrious history of opera while sharing it with new audiences.

The Marketing Challenge

Every year, the Anchorage Opera brings amazing performers to Anchorage. The season posters reflect a uniquely Alaskan twist on incredible operas from all over the world. It’s always supported by the passionate local arts community; however, Anchorage Opera always strives to attract as many new audience members as possible to ensure the survival of this artform. We’ve been proudly helping them achieve this goal for a number of years with stunning graphic design services.

How We Got Results

The best way to create incredible artwork is simply to let your graphic designer’s imagination run wild. Each piece is based on a detailed client brief and a team brainstorm, but after that, it’s up to our designer to translate this into posters. Initial feedback on these designs was incredibly positive.

The client was thrilled with the outcome, and Anchorage Opera received a lot of positive feedback on social media platforms about the design. Showcasing Anchorage Opera’s productions with this caliber of original artwork highlights on a national level just how much Anchorage values the arts.

We’re delighted to say that our peers agreed! Our poster artwork for the 2016 production of The Mikado, by Gilbert and Sullivan, won a Merit Award at the AMA Alaska Pinnacle Awards.

“Anchorage Opera put on an amazing show called As One, which was only possible because of a national grant. The composer was impressed with our client’s visual representation! Having quality posters to promote the event helps Anchorage Opera by putting them in an even better position for future events. We’re so honored to support the arts community in our city!”
