📄 5. Service Terms
5.1 Contract Term
This agreement is for a fixed term of six (6) months, beginning on the date of contract execution. Services are delivered in structured phases based on client readiness, internal timelines, and required approvals.
Monthly billing remains consistent throughout the contract term, regardless of when specific services go live.
If at any point during the six (6) month term the Client is dissatisfied, Beacon will not hold the Client to the remainder of the executed contract.
5.2 Service Readiness & Activation
Each service requires preparation prior to activation, including:
- Onboarding
- Strategy development
- Content gathering
- Access setup
- Goal and KPI alignment
Activation timelines vary based on service complexity and client responsiveness.
5.3 Monthly Billing
Billing begins immediately upon contract execution and continues monthly throughout the full six (6) month term.
This agreement operates as a subscription service, meaning:
- Monthly billing remains fixed
- Billing is not dependent on service launch dates
Included in billing:
- Onboarding
- Strategy
- Setup
- Content development
- Execution
- Reporting
Delays due to approvals or readiness do not alter billing obligations.
5.4 Renewal of Contract
Upon completion of the initial term, the contract automatically renews for an additional six (6) month term.
Any rate adjustments made during the initial term will apply to the renewal term.
5.5 Dispute Resolution
Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through communication and collaboration.
If unresolved:
- Parties will attempt resolution outside of court
- Mediation or arbitration will be considered
- Legal action is a last resort
All parties waive the right to a jury trial for disputes related to this agreement.
Jurisdiction: Anchorage, Alaska
All parties consent to jurisdiction in this location.
5.6 Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days written notice after completion of the initial six (6) month term, provided all outstanding balances are paid.
5.7 Code of Conduct
Clients agree to maintain professional and respectful communication with Beacon Media + Marketing and its staff.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- Harassment
- Abuse
- Disrespect toward staff
Violation of this code may result in termination of services without further liability.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, and materials produced by Beacon Media + Marketing remain the property of Beacon unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
7. Limitation of Liability
Beacon Media + Marketing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of its services.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
