Having recently relocated back to North Carolina from Alaska with her husband Jon, Michelle brings a wealth of experience to her role. She began her marketing journey in North Carolina, working as a professional relations liaison for a national mental health hospital system, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the mental health sector. Her background, supported by a B.S. in Recreational Therapy, allows her to approach marketing with empathy and insight, crafting strategies that genuinely connect with individuals seeking mental health resources and support.

After her time in mental health marketing, Michelle expanded her skill set by working for a print, design, and promotional product company, focusing on sales and social media. This hands-on experience on the front lines of marketing fueled her passion for strategic planning and execution. Excited to transition to the behind-the-scenes action, she eagerly joined Beacon Media + Marketing to deepen her knowledge of digital marketing and leverage her experience to make a greater impact.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Michelle is an avid outdoor enthusiast and lifelong soccer player who cherishes time spent in nature. She enjoys watching football with family and friends, and one of her favorite activities is running with her beloved dog, Chief, a giant, adorable Goldendoodle. Michelle’s commitment to both her professional and personal pursuits reflects her belief in the importance of mental well-being, making her an invaluable asset to the Beacon team as they strive to create innovative and effective marketing strategies that support mental health initiatives.
