Meet Our Client
Anytime Fitness is a 24/7 gym franchised all around the United States. We had the distinct privilege of working with the branch in Soldotna, Alaska. The brand caters to a specific demographic, of which there is growing interest: people who hate going to the gym. To help alleviate barriers between the gym and potential members, Anytime Fitness emphasizes a philosophy of inclusion, encouragement, and empowerment. As a result, those who are new to the gym are afforded a pleasant experience.

Their Marketing Challenge
The new Soldotna franchise was focused breaking into the city’s market. This meant we needed to build brand awareness so we could start generating leads and signing up new members. The team had experienced only marginal success in its prior marketing efforts and was seeking an alternative that would offer better ROI at a fraction of the cost. We are honored to have been able to help.
How We Got Results
We worked with Anytime Fitness of Soldotna to forge a lean, mean inbound marketing strategy that not only generates awareness, but actual foot traffic. As soon as we heard the brief, we knew Facebook would be our platform of choice. Through consistent and engaging content, the gym was able to flex its marketing muscle. We also leveraged in-house video production capability to create shareable material. This meant we were both showing and telling new clients what to expect.
We passed our original goal of 750 new members within three months of beginning our social media campaign. By January 2017, we hit the 800 mark, and June 2017 we hit 1,000 members. Right now, Anytime Fitness Soldotna has 1,200 members, which is their maximum capacity. We hit our client’s goals and our marketing efforts increased membership by over 95% in a single year.
“Jennifer and Beacon Media + Marketing have proven results that show not only in new leads and interest in our gym, but converted sales. It’s because of those efforts that we are now confident to expand to other markets in Alaska employing the same marketing techniques.”
