Strategic Consulting for Founders + Owners

Whatever's Keeping You Up, We've Been Awake for It Too

Your team reports to you. Your peers are competitors. Your spouse is tired of hearing about it. Ken Okonek and Adrienne Wilkerson co-own and run a company right now: payroll, hiring, partnerships, market shifts, all of it. Bring the decision you’ve been circling for months. You’ll get honest perspective from people who’ve made the same call, not just the answer you were hoping for.

Why Choose Beacon For Social Media

Why Choose Beacon for Executive Consulting?

This is strategic advice for the person making the call. Not a done-for-you engagement, and not a framework someone read in a book.

Direction, Not Deliverables

Every session ends with a clear point of view on what we’ve seen work and what we’ve watched fail. You decide what happens next. Take it or leave it.

Blunt Is the Default Setting

If you are not ready to hear the thing you do not want to hear, you are probably not ready for coaching yet. We would rather say that now than three months in.

Still in the Trench With You

You’re not talking to a retired owner reading from a framework. You’re talking to a person navigating payroll, hiring, and market shifts in real time, a few steps ahead of where you are.

You Are Already Qualified

The first call is not us vetting you. If you are here, you have already built something. The call is about whether our style fits how you actually work.

Climb Aboard With Two Owners Who Have Been There

Fifteen minutes, no pressure, and an honest answer about whether this is worth your time and which of us is the better fit.

Stuck on the Same Decision for Months?

Executive Strategy, Not Execution

We consult the person at the top. We are not building the funnel, managing your team, or running the campaign. You get direction and you own what happens with it.

The Founder to CEO Transition

There is a real skill gap between the founder who wears every hat and the leader who runs the people who wear them. Most owners cross it alone. You do not have to.

Culture, Hiring, and Team

How you recruit, who you keep, and when to bring in HR or finance support. These decisions compound quietly, and the wrong one costs years.

Two Styles. Pick the One That Fits You.

Ken and Adrienne coach differently on purpose. Read both, watch theirintros, and choose the one that matches how you actually make decisions.

Ken Okonek

DIRECT + ACTION-ORIENTED

HOW HE COACHES

Direct, fast, and optimistic. Ken will call out what he sees on the spot, then push you toward the next move. The bluntness is backed by years of building sales teams, growing operations from the ground up, and running the same plays across a range of industries, so the call-out always comes with a path forward.

YOU WILL WORK WELL TOGETHER IF

  • You can take a call-out without taking it personally
  • You act on a clear direction and figure out the rest as you go
  • You process internally and come back ready to move

PROBABLY NOT YOUR FIT IF

You need the full backstory and every detail mapped before you can take a step.

WHERE HE GOES DEEP

  • Sales strategy and duplicating a sales process
  • Marketing direction
  • Startup operations and early execution
  • Recruiting team building and culture in growth mode

BRING HIM PROBLEMS LIKE

  • I’m worried about raising my rates
  • The business does not run without me in it
  • Sales depend entirely on me and I need to multiply that
  • I’m losing clients, I can’t get churn under control, and I don’t know how to talk to the frustrated ones
  • I need to grow a team without lowering the bar on who I hire

INDUSTRIES

Open across the board. Deepest bench in fitness, personal brand, coaching, consulting, physical therapy, mental health, and tourism.

OFF THE TABLE

Personal finances and HR compliance issues.

Adrienne Wilkerson

QUESTION- LED + EXPERIENCED

HOW SHE COACHES

Adrienne asks a lot of questions. The goal is to pull out what you already know, then add the perspective of someone a few steps ahead in the same trench.

YOU WILL WORK WELL TOGETHER IF

  • You want to learn, not just be told
  • You are honest that you have not figured it all out
  • You are a go-getter or a promoter who needs help narrowing the
    focus

PROBABLY NOT YOUR FIT IF

You need every person to be happy with every decision. That does not
hold up in business.

WHERE SHE GOES DEEP

  • The founder to CEO transition
  • Business partnerships, entering and exiting
  • Company culture, hiring, and HR decisions
  • Growth stage and established operations
  • Staying nimble when the market shifts

BRING HER PROBLEMS LIKE

  • I am the CEO and I still wear every hat
  • My partnership is not working the way we planned
  • Do I hire a bookkeeper, a fractional CFO, or neither yet
  • We are stable at one location and I want five

INDUSTRIES

Mental and behavioral health, healthcare, dental, orthodontics, digital agencies, and boutique food and wellness brands.

BEST FIT SIZE

$500,000 or more in annual revenue and five or more employees.

Some Conversations Need Both of Us

If you and your business partner are working through a hard decision together, book Ken and Adrienne on the same call. Two owners who’ve navigated a partnership, sitting across from two owners in the middle of one.

The Questions You Wouldn't Even Type Into ChatGPT

When We Are Not the Right Fit

We’d rather tell you now than take your money and find outtogether.

You're not ready for blunt feedback

If hearing something you disagree with shuts down the conversation, coaching of any kind is going to be a rough investment right now.

You need every detail before you can move

This works best for people who can act on a clear direction and fill in the rest as they go. If you need exhaustive context and a fully mapped plan before every step, say so on the talk shop call so we can point you the right way.

You need everyone to be happy with every call

We'll push you toward the decision that's right for the business, which isn't always the decision that keeps everyone comfortable. If you need consensus in the room before you can move, this is going to be a frustrating engagement.

You're not the one making the final call

This is executive consulting. We work with the person who owns the decision. Others on your team can be part of the conversation, but the engagement is with you.

Want the Marketing Done, Not Just Directed?

Consulting is advisory. We give you the direction and you decide what happens with it. If you’d rather have a team build and run the marketing side ofthat plan, that’s what Beacon does every day. It’s a separate engagement with its own scope, and you’re never required to take one to getthe other.

How It Works

1

Talk Shop for 15 Minutes

A short, low pressure call. You tell us what you are working through. We tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it and which of us is the better match.

2

Take the Assessment

Every client takes a Predictive Index behavioral assessment. It takes about five minutes and gives you a read on your own working style before we get into strategy.

3

Start the Engagement

Ongoing sessions with structured homework in between, so the work continues after the call ends and every meeting starts with something real to react to.

Scope and cadence are set after the talk shop call.

Hear How They Think Before You Book

You should like the person you’re being coached by. Both Ken and Adrienne host their own show, so you can hear exactly how each of them handles a conversation before you ever get on a call.

Executive Consulting FAQ

Is this the same as hiring Beacon for marketing?
No. Consulting is a separate service with its own scope and pricing. It’s executive advisory with Ken or Adrienne, focused on the decisions you’re making as the owner. Hiring Beacon to run your marketing is a different engagement entirely, and neither one requires the other.
Read both profiles, watch their intros, and take the quiz. If you’re still unsure, the 15-minute talk shop call will sort it out quickly. We’d rather point you toward the right fit than take an engagement that stalls three months in because the styles don’t match.
We’lltell you what we’d do in your position. If you want that work built and run, Beacon’s marketing team can scope it separately. Consulting doesn’t roll into a marketing retainer automatically, and you’re never obligated to buy one to keep the other.
Adrienne leads with mental and behavioral health and adjacent healthcare practices, including physicaltherapy, dental, orthodontics, optometry, and med spas. Ken works across most industries, since sales, marketing, and operations translate. If you’re outside those lanes, say so on the talk shop call and we’lltell you honestly how much we can add.
Adrienne does her best work with businesses at $500,000 or more in annual revenue and five or more employees, where the questions shift from surviving to scaling. Ken’s range is broader and includes earlier-stage companies still building the first version of their sales and operations.
Consulting starts at $2,000 per month. Final scope and cadence are set after the talk shop call, based on how often you want to meet and how much is on the table.
You get structured homework. It keeps the work moving after the call ends and means every session starts with something realto react to instead of a recap of the last one.
Yes, and we’d encourage it. Ken hosts Kenversations, where he digs into sales, mindset, and what actually builds people. Adrienne hosts The Beacon Way, where she talks with founders about the hard calls behind the success stories. Listen to a few episodes of each and you’ll know quickly which style fits how you like to be challenged.
