Real Property Management Last Frontier is a professional property management service based in Anchorage, Alaska, which takes care of everything from tenant screening to leasing, maintenance, and evictions. Members of its team have been honing their real estate management skills for more than 25 years, helping everyone from experienced investors to unintentional landlords.
When this client first brought us on board, they had strong brand recognition in the city of Anchorage and were expanding into the nearby Mat-Su Valley market. The team wanted to enter the market with a splash, educating clients about their services and generating leads straight away.
We ran Google ads in the Mat-Su Valley targeting searches like “property management company” and “rental property management” using the tagline, “leave the hard work to us,” appealing to the stress DIY landlords are under when it comes to the management of their own rental property. We added call extensions, which allowed internet users to make trackable calls directly from the Google ads. We also ran Google ads in Anchorage on 10% of the budget using the same strategy.
The average click-through rate (CTR) for the Mat-Su ads was 10.58%, which is 2.8X the national average of 3.71% for the real estate industry. Despite a low budget on the Anchorage ads, they saw high engagement for the brand name as well. Much of the evidence of success is anecdotal, however. Our client told us her clients were seeing the brand everywhere, which proved to be an extremely successful strategy in generating referral traffic from other businesses.
