Anytime Fitness is a 24/7, 365 gym franchised all across the United States. We had the distinct privilege of working with the branch in Soldotna, Alaska. The brand caters to a specific demographic, of which there is growing interest: people who hate going to the gym. To help alleviate barriers between the gym and potential members, Anytime Fitness emphasizes a philosophy of inclusion, encouragement, and empowerment. As a result, those with less gym experience are afforded a pleasant experience.
The new Soldotna franchise was focused breaking into the city’s market, gaining brand awareness, and ultimately signing up more members. It had experienced marginal success in its prior marketing efforts and was seeking an alternative that would offer better ROI at a fraction of the cost.
We worked with Anytime Fitness of Soldotna to forge a lean, mean inbound marketing strategy that not only generates awareness but actual foot traffic as well. Facebook was our platform of choice. Through consistent and engaging content, the gym was able to flex its marketing muscle. We also leveraged in-house video production to create shareable material.
Within 3 months of beginning our social media campaign for Anytime Fitness, we had already surpassed our original goal of 750 members. January 2017, we surpassed 800 members, by June 2017 we surpassed 1,000 members and currently Anytime Fitness Soldotna has over 1,200 members, which is their maximum capacity for a 4,500-square foot facility.
We exceed our client’s goals and increased membership through our marketing efforts by over 95% within a year. Because of the current membership increase and proof of what we’ve been able to accomplish with our social media marketing campaign, Anytime Fitness is opening another location in the Anchorage area this winter
